the special military operation and their families were held at the RUSSIA EXPO.

Julia Topolnitskaya, Yana Poplavskaya, Galina Tyunina, Gennady Sayfulin, Evgeny
Steblov, Vasily Bochkarev, Olga Naumenko, Vladimir Serikov, Larisa Bravitskaya,
Alexi Gilaut.
"Him +
Her" is the feature cinema debut of director and screenwriter Alexandra
Frank. Filmed in the style of a cinema almanac, the movie consists of five
completely different genre novellas about the true love of a man and a woman.
The director has set a bold experiment, in which separate artistic chapters are
linked into one narrative by means of black-and-white mini-confessions from her
friends, including many famous actors and actresses.
Life
situations of all five novels are so unexpected that the viewer is not able to
tear himself away from the screen even for a second: from a sudden emotional
explosion during a family horror, to a quarrel between parents through the eyes
of a child, in front of whom his small cozy world collapses. From an amusing
extravaganza of the collision of a naive French intellectual enamored with
Russia with real life to a chamber scene of sudden love between two mature
people who have long despaired of meeting their love. The movie is crowned by a
touching autumn elegy about late love brilliantly performed by Olga Naumenko,
Evgeny Steblov and Gennady Sayfulin.
This is how
Evgeny Steblov himself speaks about the work on the movie:
"Impressions
from the creative process are the most pleasant. I read the script and agreed
to meet with the director - Alexandra Frank. Was surprised me was that the
director was on a large term of pregnancy. 'This is such a courageous young
woman,' I thought. We worked effortlessly. Alexandra understands what she is
making a movie about. She loves her characters, although they are people of a
different generation, empathizes with them. I am very much looking forward to
the release of the movie on the screen," recalls the People's Artist.
The RUSSIA
EXPO also hosted a creative meeting with the screenwriter of the movie, actress
and writer Larisa Bravitskaya.
"We are sure that such films as 'Him + Her', where the eternal themes of love are raised, where you need to think, empathize with the characters, try to find answers to the questions posed in the film - is really missed by modern viewers. It was important for Alexandra and me to break stereotypes and prove to everyone that the production and distribution of films depends on us, that our audience is tired of fast food movies and wants to return to the roots of intelligent and deep cinema, 'When Trees were Big' and 'Three Poplars on Plyushchikha’ grew," said screenwriter Larisa Bravitskaya.
