This is yet another chance for young professionals to grow stronger, better, and more confident in their field," noted Anna Musevich, Minister of Youth Policy of the Kaliningrad Region.
A total of 10,000 applications from 89 regions of Russia were submitted during the Award application campaign. To increase interest in the event, blog tours were organized. Participants visited the Beloyarsk NPP, the ATOM Museum, and witnessed the launch of a carrier rocket at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. During these trips, the Award’s film crew recorded exclusive interviews, reports, and a documentary about the lives of young people in the LPR and DPR. The materials from the blog tours will also be presented at the award ceremony on December 4.
"The SHUM Award has already delivered its first results. For instance, a documentary about young people in the LPR and DPR and life in these regions will soon be released on a domestic streaming platform. The film was created by the Award’s team during the blog tour. At Baikonur, our participants carried out extensive work on creating content about young specialists in the space industry — truly unique interviews that can inspire thousands. Additionally, the materials collected during visits to the ATOM Museum and the Beloyarsk NPP will form the basis of publications promoting science and the nuclear industry," said Tatyana Mandrykina, Head of the Year-Round Youth Educational Centre of Rosmolodezh SHUM.
