On March 12, the National Centre RUSSIA held its traditional ceremony of appreciation for volunteers. Dedicated individuals who contributed their selfless efforts and enthusiasm to organizing expositions, festivals, masterclasses, educational programs, and other events and projects at the National Centre RUSSIA received well-deserved recognition.

"Our volunteers are true heroes. Their energy, dedication, and willingness to help inspire us and remind us that together, we can achieve anything. The warm smile of a volunteer greeting each guest sets the family-like atmosphere we create at the National Centre RUSSIA," said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA.

To date, more than 600 people have participated in the National Centre RUSSIA’s volunteer program. This includes over 500 student volunteers from 14 Moscow universities who joined the initiative with support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia. Collectively, they have completed more than 700 volunteer shifts and contributed to the organization of 30 large-scale events at the National Centre RUSSIA.

"A huge thank you to the team at the National Centre RUSSIA for creating a space of opportunity and self-fulfillment. No matter when you visit, you are overwhelmed with emotions of pride and admiration for your country. And, of course, this atmosphere attracts our wonderful volunteers, who also want to be part of something great and help in any way they can," said Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The event featured stories from volunteers who shared their emotions and experiences of participating in the National Centre RUSSIA’s projects.

"I never imagined that volunteering would become such an important part of my life. Every project brings new encounters, connections, and the chance to do something meaningful for others. It’s an incredible experience that will stay with me forever," said Yekaterina, a volunteer with six years of experience.

The National Centre RUSSIA continues to expand its volunteer movement and plans to attract even more participants to its programs and projects.
