Digital medicine for people: unique developments presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
Director of the Institute of Digital Medicine at Sechenov University Georgy Lebedev presented unique medical developments involving artificial intelligence at the RUSSIA EXPO on Artificial Intelligence Day.
For the first time the guests were presented with an AI assistant for colonoscopy - an original development of the Russian company "Alnisoft" with the participation of the FSBI "A.N. Ryzhykh National Medical Research Center of Coloproctology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia. This solution based on computer vision is designed to detect polyps and tumors during colonoscopy, and it is compatible with endoscopic equipment from various manufacturers. During colonoscopy, the AI assistant illuminates colon neoplasms in real time to remove them and prevent cancer development.
Visitors can also see a digital solution for analyzing echocardiographic data, automatically calculating the linear dimensions of the heart and a number of other parameters. This is a unique joint development of FSBI "V. A. Almazov National Medical Research Center" of the Russian Ministry of Health, the National Center for Service Integration and "WaveAccess" company.
