Far East is voting for transport projects in anticipation of RUSSIA EXPO
As part of preparation work for the International RUSSIA EXPO, voting for regional projects is continuing. Residents of the subjects located in the Far East Federal area are also making their choice. Currently, numerous transport projects can be found among the winners of the popular voting.
In particular, residents of Sakhalin are actively promoting their new airport for the website ''Achievements. RF''. It’s been opened quite recently, but Sakhalin people are already greatly enjoying it. Since it can handle up to five million passengers per year, which is five times more than the old airport terminal. This not only meets the current needs, but opens up new opportunities for development of air transport in the region.
''Sakhalin resident card'' is another important initiative in demand. Since it helps in saving money through discounts and cashback from the partners, using the single plastic card instead of both social and banking ones as well as instead of their analogues related to compulsory medical insurance policy (OMS) and insurance individual account number (SNILS) needed to receive medical treatment in healthcare institutions.
Transport infrastructure projects have been also appreciated in the Amur region and the Jewish autonomous region. In the Amur region locals are actively voting for the transboundary bridge between Russia and China as well as for another bridge across the Zeya river. Meanwhile in the Jewish autonomous region, the international railway bridge across the Amur river is the leader of the voting.
