Singer and composer Dana Al Meer will represent Qatar at the International Music Contest "Intervision". During the draw held at the National Centre RUSSIA, she received the number 12.

"I am very happy with number 12. My colleagues asked me which number I would like to draw, and I always replied that I love number one, and if not, then at least number two. In the end, it turned out to be twelve, which still means one or two," said Dana Al Meer. "Russia is a very beautiful country, rich in its traditions. I love the people of Russia and gratefully accept their hospitality."

The singer writes original songs and soundtracks, and also works as a producer and composer for theatre productions and video art projects. She became widely known after performing at the opening ceremony of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.

For "Intervision", Dana Al Meer has prepared a ballad "Huwa dha anta" ("It Is Exactly You") in the Arabic pop genre. The song explores the theme of finding one’s identity and life path, celebrating the strength and perseverance of people who move forward despite difficulties. In her performance, traditional Arabic motifs intertwine with modern pop sound, while her powerful and expressive vocals give the composition a special depth.
