The delegation of the National Centre RUSSIA visited the future branch in Krasnoyarsk
A branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will open in Krasnoyarsk in the end of 2025. It will be located on the Central Embankment in the Yenisei Gallery, which spans over 40,000 square meters. Key tourist attractions, including museums, the regional philharmonic hall, and promenades, are within walking distance.
A working group from the National Centre RUSSIA has already visited the regional site. The centre provides support and methodological assistance both at the launch stage of the branch and later, during the opening of new expositions and projects.
"Our task is to share our knowledge and experience with colleagues so that the branches of the National Centre RUSSIA continue to introduce visitors to Russia's achievements. Together, we cultivate a sense of pride in our country's present and foster respect for its past. We tell the story of Russia’s culture and traditions," said Irina Tesleva, Head of Regional Cooperation at National Centre RUSSIA.
The future branch will have four floors, allowing for the creation of various functional areas. Visitors will have access to expositions, contemporary art galleries, event spaces, children's play areas, lecture halls, a Department Store of Siberian Brands, and a local cuisine zone. The business area will include a concert and congress hall.
"We are creating not just a branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk, but a unique space that will become a key attraction for residents and visitors of the region. It will be a venue for the whole family, a place for discovery, inspiration, and development. It is important for us to showcase the strength, wealth, and potential of the Krasnoyarsk region and to give everyone the opportunity to experience its achievements. The Yenisei is not just a symbol of Krasnoyarsk, but also one of the main images of the RUSSIA EXPO. Now it is returning home, and we are filling this space with new meaning. It is crucial that the exposition is not static but constantly evolving, maintaining interactivity and giving people reasons to return again and again," said Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region Mikhail Kotyukov.
The branches of the National Centre RUSSIA are being established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. By the end of 2025, they will open in the first five regions of the country, selected from 15 candidates based on project evaluations. Branches of the National Centre RUSSIA will be launched in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra, Ryazan region, Sevastopol, Primorye and Krasnoyarsk regions.
