Business programme of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Far East: international dialogue, strategic projects and new development horizons
Today, the Far East is a region where the interests of
Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific intersect. New forms of
cooperation are being developed here, innovations are being tested, and
infrastructure for the future is taking shape. The National Centre RUSSIA will
take part in a series of events in Vladivostok, including the discussion
"Bolshoy Ussuriysky: An Island of Friendship, Peace and Prosperity"
at the Eastern Economic Forum, while the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the
Primorye Territory will host a presentation of the concept for a new branch in
the Khabarovsk Territory. An Open Dialogue featuring Russian and international
experts will also be held there.
On 3 September, the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia
Virtuozova, will take part in the Eastern Economic Forum programme. The session
"Bolshoy Ussuriysky: An Island of Friendship, Peace and Prosperity"
will explore the potential and prospects for the development of Bolshoy
Ussuriysky Island, a unique point on the map of Russian-Chinese relations where
geography, history and the shared interests of the two countries intersect. The
discussion will focus on the future branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the
Khabarovsk Territory.
Later on 3 September, the National Centre RUSSIA branch in the Primorye
Territory will host a presentation of the concept for the new space in the
Khabarovsk Territory, providing further details about the project.
The National Centre RUSSIA programme will conclude with the Open Dialogue
"The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth", themed
"The Far East: Where Russian Technologies Meet Asia-Pacific Markets and
Solutions". The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office
of Russia, Maxim Oreshkin, Chief Strategist at VEB.RF Mikhail Khomich, and
leading international experts will discuss the transition to exporting digital
services, computing capacity and analytical models, as well as sovereign
technological development and the protection of critical infrastructure.
The session's international experts will include Sam Majid, First Head of
Malaysia's National Artificial Intelligence Office; Ankush Sabharwal, Founder
and CEO of CoRover.ai and Head of BharatGPT (India); and Shaoshan Liu, Director
of the Embodied Artificial Intelligence Center at the Shenzhen Institute of
Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society (AIRS) (China).
On Knowledge Day, 1 September, the National Centre RUSSIA became a true source of inspiration for young participants of the All-Russian Children's Environmental Forum.
On 1 September, Russia celebrates Knowledge Day, a national holiday marking the start of the new academic year.
The National Centre RUSSIA hosted the "Wide Shot" film pitching session organised by the Tavrida.Art Cluster for the first time.
