Ahead of the opening of the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in Krasnoyarsk, the region’s exposition stand — previously presented at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow — has begun its work.

The sculpture of the Yenisei River, which attracted the attention of many guests of the exposition, has "returned home" along with other interactive zones. Every day, residents of Krasnoyarsk take numerous photos next to the image of the Siberian river, and also hear its voice — every hour the sculpture "comes to life" and tells visitors about the region’s achievements, nature, culture, and industrial potential.

On June 12, the exposition became part of the festive programme dedicated to Russia Day: congratulatory visuals appeared on the interactive panels, and every hour the Yenisei performs the National Anthem of the Russian Federation.

"It is a great honour for the Krasnoyarsk region to become one of the first regions to host a branch of the National Centre RUSSIA. I am confident that this space will quickly become a place of attraction for the city’s residents: here, one will be able not only to learn about the history of the region and the achievements of its people, but also to discover Siberian brands and take part in various events. It is heartening to see how residents of Krasnoyarsk are already exploring their native land thanks to the regional stand — and on Russia Day, this can be done in a special atmosphere, reminding us that our region is part of a great and strong country," said Alexander Chernikov, Director of the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries.

"This holiday is a wonderful occasion to once again feel what unites us. As an entrepreneur and restaurateur, I see every day how important it is to support one another. In business, we try to create collaborations, help our colleagues, and share experience. Because together we can do so much more! And I sincerely believe that this quality — the willingness to stand together for a common cause — is especially inherent in Russians. And even more so in us Siberians! The Siberian character is all about reliability, mutual support, and the strength that emerges when we come together. Happy Russia Day! We are proud of our country and believe in its future!" emphasised restaurateur and founder of the Krasnoyarsk restaurant group 075 COMMUNITY, Alexander Mitrakov.

"Not long ago, I returned from a trip to Lake Baikal. While riding a lift, I was struck by the stunning view of the snowy peaks on the far side of the lake. It made me think once again about the sheer scale of our country. It is so vast, it cannot be fully breathed in or captured in a photo. Near the lift, someone zipped past on a zip line and, judging by the richness of their vocabulary, they too were in love with these landscapes. On Russia Day, I want to wish everyone to travel more across the country. To discover the might of our Motherland. To cry out in awe at the sight of the Yenisei and to meditate on the volcanoes of Kamchatka. To look up at the skyscrapers of Moscow City and study the cobblestones of Saint Petersburg. And the first step, the first spark for such journeys, might well be exploring one’s own region — for example, by learning about its history and people at the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA," shared traveller and author of the Telegram journal for new residents of Krasnoyarsk "For These 15 Minutes, It's Trendy To..." Ilya Suraev.

"I believe that the true strength of our country lies in its people — those who create, build, and are not afraid to dream. Every project and every story we tell is a brick in the foundation of the future. May there be more kindness, meaning, and inspiration in what we do for ourselves and for our land. Happy Russia Day!" said Vladimir Tarasov, Krasnoyarsk-based film director and multiple film festival winner.
