Landing with a parachute and flying a drone: real and virtual adventures at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
pavilion of the Ministry of Defence "Army to Children. City of
Professions. The Future of the Country" offers a lot of interesting
activities for young and adult guests. You can perform a "parachute
jump", make a "dead loop" on a fighter jet, render first aid and
even perform surgery.
The
pavilion consists of several halls, each having plenty of things to see and do.
The guests are greeted by the interactive UAV zone. Here you can first learn
how to fly drones on a training complex, and then on a specially equipped
platform.
For kids
who love robots, there is a whole hall of robotics. Here, under the guidance of
experts from the Avangard Center, you can try yourself as an engineer and make
your first project.
For fans of
computer games there is a zone of esports and simulators. You can jump with a
parachute in a special simulator - the sensations are very realistic: the
attraction will easily impress even adults. The virtual reality simulator is
also suitable for younger guests, while the bravest can choose the fighter jet
flight mode and even do a real "dead loop" - so don't forget to take
everything out of your pockets.
The medical
zone turned out to be really exciting. Here you can learn to render first aid
on special mannequins: bandaging and wound treatment, cardiopulmonary
resuscitation and indirect heart massage, removal of airway obstruction.
In addition, the pavilion offers kids not only entertainment, but also interesting opportunities for the future. They will be able to learn about the main areas of work of the Russian military department and try themselves in different military specialties. Some may even decide to tie their lives to the army.
To fully appreciate the pavilion "Army to Children. City of Professions. The Future of the Country" - to try out the simulators, evaluate the "classrooms" and learn how to render first aid - it is recommended tosign up for a special tour on the website. In addition, it will also be possible to join groups at the Guest Center of the RUSSIA EXPO near the Main Arch of VDNH.
