The Children's Choir of the Bolshoi Theater performed at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
Children's Choir and soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre Youth Opera Program
presented a concert dedicated to the Great Victory Day, marking this great
historical date. The event was held with the assistance of the Elena Obraztsova
Foundation, a charitable foundation for the support of musical art, and with
the use of a grant provided by the Russian Culture Foundation as part of the
"Creative People" federal project of the "Culture" national
project.
The guests
of the Exposition were presented with a program of Soviet songs created in the
pre-war, war and post-war years - songs by Isaak Dunayevsky, Vasily
Solovyov-Sedov, Matvey Blanter, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Eduard Kolmanovsky,
Kirill Molchanov, Vano Muradeli and other Soviet composers.
The concert
featured soloists of the Youth Opera Program (artistic director - Dmitry
Vdovin) and the Children's Chorus (artistic director - Yulia Molchanova) of the
Bolshoi Theatre, accompanied by the Moscow State Academic Symphony Orchestra.
The Bolshoi Theater conductor is Anton Grishanin, and the director is Igor
Ushakov.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country
gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich
business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89
Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public
organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 12 million people have
already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at
VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
The performance took place as part of the international Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth."
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
