The nine millionth guest visited the RUSSIA EXPO
On March 20, the number of visitors to the International
RUSSIA EXPO reached nine million. The jubilee guest was nine-year-old Andrei
Batorov. He came to the Exposition together with his parents Alexandra,
Stanislav and younger sister Sofia.
The family is originally from Buryatia and now lives in
Moscow. Stanislav Batorov works in the IT sphere. According to his wife
Alexandra Markevich, the gift came as a complete surprise to them.
"I saw stories about other millionth visitors, but I
could not imagine that we would become one of them. We have never been so
incredibly lucky, I hope that we have not exhausted the limit of luck. This
gift is very pleasant and unexpected," said Alexandra Markevich.
The nine millionth visitor and his family were given a tour
of the exposition in Pavilion No. 59 dedicated to the past, present and future
of Russian cities. Andrei received gifts from the ANO «Directorate of the
Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» and the VEB.RF state development
corporation, including a certificate for a family trip to Lake Baikal.
"We have a big event today! Andrei, you have become the
nine millionth visitor to the Exposition. Our great friends and partners VEB.RF
give your tight-knit family a trip to Baikal. Let this journey become an
unforgettable adventure that will remain in your hearts forever for you, your
parents and little sister. We are very happy for you!" congratulated the
Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements
"Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova.
The family was also congratulated by Andrei Samokhin, Chief
Managing Director of VEB.RF.
"VEB.RF's exposition at the RUSSIA EXPO is dedicated to
the changes in the lives of Russian families in cities over the past 25 years.
The family today is at the center of the presidential development agenda and
VEB's agenda. That is why we decided to present the family of the nine
millionth Exposition visitor with a trip to Baikal. This is a world-famous
center of attraction that millions dream of visiting. VEB is engaged in a
number of projects for the development of this region, including eco-tourism,
development of Baykalsk city," said Andrei Samokhin.
The journey to Baikal for the jubilee visitor promises to be
eventful. The program includes an excursion to the husky park, a walk along the
eco-trail and the national park - all accompanied by experienced guides.
Accommodation in one of the best hotels of the region and visits to restaurants
where guests can taste the national cuisine will make the trip even more comfortable.
On March 6, the eight millionth visitor, who was
fourteen-year-old Vadim Leizer from Tyumen, was solemnly welcomed at the
Exposition. He together with his parents and younger brother received a
certificate to attend a friendly football match between the national teams of
Russia and Serbia, which will be held in Moscow on March 21.
All jubilee guests receive gifts from the ANO «Directorate
of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» and partners. For
example, an excursion to the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, a tourist trip to the
Krasnodar region, tickets to "The Nutcracker" ballet at the Bolshoi
Theater and to the main holiday of the peoples of the North - Reindeer Herder's
Day.
The Foreign Minister
will speak at one of the key events of the Symposium - the panel discussion
"Future of Multipolar World."
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
