Dialogues about the future with Valery Fedorov in the National Centre RUSSIA: what will medicine look like tomorrow

On June 27, at 19:00, the second discussion of the cycle "Dialogues about the future with Valery Fedorov" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA. It will address prospects of development of medicine and future technologies in healthcare. The participants will talk about innovative treatment methods, the role of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in medicine, as well as ethical issues related to the introduction of new technologies.

The meeting will be moderated by Valery Fedorov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and Director General of VTsIOM.

Leading experts will take part in the discussion -- futurologist Danila Medvedev and Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Bionic Technologies and Engineering, Research Adviser at the School of Intelligent Systems of Theranostics at Sechenov University Dmitry Telyshev.

The event is free of charge, pre-registration on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA is required.

The project "Dialogues about the Future with Valery Fedorov" is being implemented by the National Centre RUSSIA in cooperation with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

The main idea of the project echoes one of the key messages of the 2nd International Symposium "Shaping the Future" — to unite the world's leading minds to design togehter positive scenarios of the future via the synergy of science, technology, culture and science fiction.
