Diana Gurtskaya: "We will soon start an important conversation — a session dedicated to inclusion"
At the final "Community" forum in Moscow, a discussion will take place focusing on the development of inclusion and the creation of conditions for the equal participation of people with disabilities and limited health capacities in all areas of life — from education and employment to culture and sport.
Experts, representatives of government bodies, NGOs, charitable foundations and disability communities will discuss how to move from building an accessible environment to creating a truly inclusive society, where the value of a person is defined not by limitations but by opportunities.
The focus will be on supporting and scaling up best practices and projects, as well as fostering a culture of understanding and acceptance within society.
The session, which will serve as a platform for sharing experience, analysing successful cases and developing proposals for the further advancement of inclusive initiatives in Russia, will be moderated by Diana Gurtskaya, First Deputy Chair of the Commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on Social Partnership, Guardianship and Development of Inclusive Practices.
"We will soon open an important conversation — a session dedicated to inclusion, as part of the anniversary final Community forum of the Civic Chamber. I look forward to an open and constructive discussion with experts, civil society representatives and everyone who cares about creating a society open to all. I am confident that our dialogue will become another significant step towards true inclusion, where the value, rights and opportunities of every person are not merely a declaration but a real practice. Let us work together to build an environment free from barriers and stereotypes, because every voice matters!" said Diana Gurtskaya.
