For science and technology enthusiasts: Inventor and Rationaliser Day at the National Centre RUSSIA
06.23.2025

Inventor and Rationaliser Day will be celebrated on June 28 at the National Centre RUSSIA. The programme will include a series of popular science events aimed at supporting and promoting the achievements of Russian scientists and inventors within the priorities of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation. The event is organised by the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalisers (VOIR).

The official part of the celebration will mark the opening of the III All-Russian VOIR Festival "Science and Invention for Life," which will take place in 15 regions across the country. The event is expected to reach over 400,000 people and involve 250 experts from Russia’s leading scientific and educational institutions.

From 10:30 to 17:00, the National Centre RUSSIA will host a student exposition titled "Retro Inventions," as well as an interactive science show with spectacular experiments, a business game called "Iron Entrepreneur," workshops, quizzes, science labs, training sessions, and lectures for children and young people — for everyone interested in science and technology.

Inventor and Rationaliser Day is celebrated annually in Russia on the last Saturday of June. The holiday was established in the late 1950s on the initiative of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
