Dmitry Chernyshenko proposed to hold an Intergovernmental Commission with Cuba at the RUSSIA EXPO
According to the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, now both sides are working on the implementation of the agreements between the presidents.
Deputy Prime Minister, co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Russia-Cuba Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Dmitry Chernyshenko proposed to hold the 21st meeting of the Commission in the second half of February 2024. He is confident that the International RUSSIA EXPO will be an excellent venue for the event.
Russia and Cuba are working together to fulfill the agreements reached by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Miguel Diaz-Canel, as well as Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz. They plan to sign a program of trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation for the period until 2030.
"We consider the conclusion of contracts with Russian companies and the successful launch of projects stipulated by the Russia-Cuba Investment Initiative, in particular, in the field of mining and processing of mineral resources, cane sugar production, tourism and hotel business, solar energy, as the most important condition for effective joint work", — emphasized Dmitry Chernyshenko.
International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow on the territory of VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations and public associations will also take part in the exposition.
Hosted festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Association of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation, and the 95th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The international campaign "Victory Dictation" took place in Moscow on April 25 across 497 venues.
Essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia".
