37 days left until the opening of the RUSSIA EXPO
In 37 days, the International RUSSIA EXPO will begin its work, and in the meantime, construction work on the facade of Pavilion No. 70 is continuing.
The legendary "Montreal" pavilion No. 70, created for the World Exposition in Canada in the 1970s, will soon be completely renewed.
It will appear before the visitors of the VDNH in the style of one of the most anticipated events of the decade — our exposition. After the builders finish their work, the "Montreal" pavilion will bring joy to the residents and guests of the capital for many months.
As a reminder, the International RUSSIA EXPO will be held in Moscow on the territory of VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region of the Russian Federation will present its stand, where it will introduce visitors to the key achievements in various industries. Federal authorities, representatives of large corporations, public associations and foreign countries will also take part in the exposition.
A ceremonial phaeton from the mid-19th century, decorated with gilded bronze and red velvet, took part more than once in the coronations of Russian emperors.
The Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Geography" is part of the original project of the National Centre RUSSIA.
