The Leningrad region’s exposition at RUSSIA EXPO will showcase its key developments.

The stand will help to attract the interest of potential residents, workers and tourists. This was announced by deputy chairman of the government of the Leningrad region — chairman of the Committee for economic development and investment activity Dmitry Yalov.

"The main message of the region’s exposition is the motto "Have a rest and work in the Leningrad region! Building the future together!". To represent the region at the VDNH, we have chosen achievements in key sectors. Industry will be represented by major investment projects. We will also present the development of the largest seaport on the Baltic, large-scale tourist projects", — noted Yalov.

A table where everyone can build models of the most important objects for the region will be placed in the center of the exposition. For example, there will be the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant, the Ust-Luga commercial seaport and the Vyborg Castle complex. After the model is assembled, it will be "recognized" by artificial intelligence, after which a thematic video will be shown.

It will be possible to immerse yourself in the nature of the Leningrad region in a special recreation zone. Visitors will be offered to enjoy views of the Gulf of Finland or take a walk along a special moving eco-trail: walk on a treadmill, enjoying the changing views of lakes, forests and fields.

In addition, guests will have the opportunity to meet people from the region, including artists, bloggers, athletes and businessmen.
