Drones and a corridor to Western China: Samara region at the RUSSIA EXPO
On the Day of the Samara region at the RUSSIA EXPO, the region spoke about the upcoming launch of mass production of drones - it will begin by the end of 2023.
A number of other important projects were also presented.For example, the Togliatti Bypass - an important part of the transportation corridor to Western China. Furthermore, there is another serious project in the region. It is a bridge over the Volga River and 100 kilometers of federal highway. The construction will be completed in 2024.
Attention is being given to one of the most important spheres in the modern world - IT. This is the direction that the international interuniversity campus for five thousand students, which will be opened in the region, will take.
"Today I invite you to visit the stand of the Samara region, where you can get acquainted with the key achievements of our region and take part in cultural, educational and business programs", — said the Governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov.
The organizers have prepared sports masterclasses - in fencing, karate and table tennis. The mentors are medalists and winners of competitions of different levels. One of the highlights of the Day of the Region is a space wedding, because Samara is the capital of space.
