ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» and the All-Russian public movement for patriotic and sports education of citizens "Healthy Fatherland" signed a cooperation agreement — within its framework the movement will organize mass sports events and activities at the RUSSIA EXPO venue. The first joint project will be the "Marathon of Exercises": famous athletes, ambassadors of the movement will conduct mass exercises for the visitors to the Exposition. A total of 10 such events are planned.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova and Chairman of the "Healthy Fatherland" movement, 1996 Summer Olympic Games bronze medalist, 2000 Summer Olympic Games silver medalist, 1994 Goodwill Games bronze medalist Raimkul Malakhbekov.

"The RUSSIA EXPO is dedicated to the future, and it is impossible without sports. Russia is probably the biggest sports power in the world. From April 20, at the RUSSIA EXPO we are starting a sports program, our main partner is the "Healthy Fatherland" movement. The sports program will be opened by the All-Russian Morning Exercise on the Main Street Stage of the Exposition. Such Morning Exercises will be held every Saturday, and they will be conducted by famous athletes. We hope that we will be able to revive the tradition of doing exercises in the morning," said Natalia Virtuozova.

Signing the agreement is a very important step for the organization, Raimkul Malakhbekov said.

"Thanks to the agreement, we will be able to promote the idea of improving the health of the nation and the inclusion of every resident of Russia in the development of the sports movement. On April 20, we will launch the first major joint project  'Marathon of Exercises'," said Raimkul Malakhbekov.

The "Healthy Fatherland" movement unites 43 regional offices and more than 750 thousand people. Olympic champions Nikita Nagorny, Yevgeny Rylov, Ivan Girev, famous chess player Sergei Koryakin, weightlifter Mikhail Koklyaev joined it.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 10 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
