This weekend's movie screenings are as varied in genre as ever. You can laugh at loser protagonists trying to make a life in a small Italian town among pensioners. Or to worry about brutal Matthew McConaughey, who was dragged into trouble by his ex-wife, played by the beautiful Anne Hathaway. And for those who lack drama, there is a poignant Russian short film and touching fantasy.

BACK TO THE NEST 12+

Two friends, Salvo and Valentino, becoming unemployed, are forced to move to the small town of Monteforte, where life is not so expensive. The new reality turns out to be quite different from what they imagined: there are almost solely elderly people left in the town. However, the heroes soon realize that the old people are not so useless, because each of them has a good pension.

BOONIE BEARS: ENTANGLED WORLDS 6+

The life of a teenage girl nicknamed Muska has always been a bittersweet one, but after a tragedy in a fire it finally lost its meaning. Muska leads a wandering life, tries to warm herself with the memories of her childhood and to find the edge of the abyss where her relatives have fallen.

The movie will be presented by the crew. Director Mikhail Akimov and producer Vitaly Lyuby will tell how the idea of creating the movie arose, how the shooting took place and what challenges they faced, as well as answer questions from the audience.

SERENITY 18+

The scorching sun of the Caribbean, a trusty ship and a life of risk are his element. The only woman he has ever loved married a billionaire and lives in a villa in Miami.
