Eco-friendly and economical: Domestic electric cars were presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA EXPO hosted a presentation of products by Motorinvest, the largest electric car manufacturer in the country at the moment. Its representatives spoke about the capabilities of its four models produced under the EVOLUTE brand - practical sedan i-PRO, city crossover i-JOY, innovative i-SKY, sporty i-JET.
"Electric cars are not only more environmentally friendly, but also much more economical to use - given that the cost of electricity is noticeably lower than car fuel, the expenses for the operation of such transport will hit the family budget less. And it is already possible to get acquainted with our models live in almost every major city of Russia in our dealership centers," said Vasily Chebotarev, Head of Evolute Special Projects.
The country's first specialized plant for the production of electric cars is located in the Lipetsk region. The capacity at full cycle is more than 100,000 electric cars per year. In 2023, the plant carried out large-unit assembly - a new electric car came off the assembly line every eight minutes.
At the end of 2023, Evolute ranked first in terms of sales volume among electric cars officially available on the market. In total, more than 2,000 units of the brand were sold last year. Also in the past year, the company's product line expanded from two to five models. Very soon it will be supplemented with one more model operating on hybrid drive.
