Experts of the Russian Book of Records registered a new achievement at the RUSSIA EXPO
The Federal
Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) has received a certificate from
Russian Book of Records at the RUSSIA EXPO: the agency conducted the largest
number of trademark examinations for the year. A total of 106,702 examinations
were conducted. This is now an officially registered record.
To clearly
understand the scale of Rospatent's work, Stanislav Konenko, Editor-in-Chief of
the Russian Book of Records, proposed to imagine the entire Moscow Ring Road,
where one trademark is displayed on every meter.
"In
our work we try to help to develop Russian business, which has been actively
filing applications for several years. Rospatent does not have a minute of
rest, but we are happy to guide new brands and give companies the opportunity
to develop, become more secure and confident in their own business and its
reliability. This record for us is a certain bar, a foothold, a point for
further reference in our work," said Yuri Zubov, Head of the Federal
Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), accepting the award.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO is held at VDNH in Moscow. The exposition shows the
most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Cultural
events, a rich business and educational program are organized for guests.
Visitors are presented expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal
departments, corporations and public organizations.
The congress was attended by more than 250 delegates representing the inventor community from 70 constituent entities of our country.
The festival passed its tenth anniversary last year, and its popularity in its home city continues to grow.
How such finds change our understanding of our ancestors and their vision of the world was discussed at a meeting of the series "Conversations with Stanislav Drobyshevsky".
