The exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA prepares to open at INNOPROM 2025
One of the key highlights of INNOPROM 2025 will be the opening of the National Centre RUSSIA’s stand, presented for the first time at this major international exposition. Visitors will be introduced to a unique project — the RUSSIA Department Store, bringing together the finest goods and products from 90 manufacturers across 46 regions of the country. Ahead of the opening, the National Centre RUSSIA is finalising preparations for the presentation of its large-scale exposition.
The RUSSIA Department Store will showcase a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and the industrial potential of Russian regions. Guests will experience a deep dive into the world of folk arts and crafts — from traditional techniques to their modern interpretations. A special feature of the stand will be its interactive programme: workshops by leading artisans, lectures by experts in the creative industries, and opportunities to meet the creators of unique products in person.
"The RUSSIA Department Store is not just a marketplace, but a living encyclopaedia of folk art and the achievements of small and medium-sized enterprises across our vast country. At INNOPROM, we are representing 46 regions and around 100 manufacturers. Every item here tells its own unique story — about craftsmen who carefully preserve traditions, about the regions with their distinctive character, about the modern interpretation of our country’s cultural code and, of course, about true Russian hospitality. Most of the products we present are handmade and created with great care. We deliberately chose this format for INNOPROM — it is here, among cutting-edge technologies, that the importance of manual labour and the value of true craftsmanship become especially clear," said Irina Tesleva, Head of the Regional Relations Department at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The exposition is structured around four thematic areas. The "Groceries" section will feature regional gastronomic brands. The "Accessories" zone will showcase designer jewellery and wardrobe items created using traditional motifs. The "Folk Crafts and Handicrafts" track will highlight items decorated with Khokhloma, Gzhel, and other distinctive painting styles that have become hallmarks of their regions. In the "Cosmetics" area, visitors will find unique natural products based on traditional recipes combined with modern technologies.
The conceptual centre of the exposition will be a special collection featuring quotes from the President of Russia and the branding of the National Centre RUSSIA. All showcased products will be available for viewing and for purchase directly at the stand.
The "Department Store" project of the National Centre RUSSIA was launched on November 4, 2024 as a continuation of the "Department Store" space from the International RUSSIA EXPO. It has already brought together over 160 manufacturers from 60 regions. In 2025, regional branches of the Department Store are planned to open across the country.
"Supporting domestic brands — of which there are more and more in our country — is one of the main goals of the Department Store and of the National Centre RUSSIA as a whole. These brands are loved and in demand, and we are conceptually demonstrating how all these products can be united under one roof. Our project is growing and will soon reach 89 department stores — one in every region. The first regional Department Store will open at the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Vladivostok as early as September," said Maryus Matas, Head of the RUSSIA Department Store project.
The INNOPROM International Industrial Exposition has been held annually in Yekaterinburg since 2010. The project is organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. INNOPROM 2025 will take place from July 7 to 10.
