The "Memory Wall" exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA now available as a virtual panorama
The National Centre RUSSIA has launched a virtual panorama
of the "Memory Wall" exposition, created to mark the 80th anniversary
of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The digital project allows people from
anywhere in the world to explore the memorial wall and preserve the memory of
the heroes of their family histories.
The virtual panorama presents different stages in the life
of the exposition, enabling visitors to see how the "Memory Wall"
evolved and gradually expanded with new photographs submitted by participants
in the campaign. The virtual panorama can be accessed on the National Centre
RUSSIA website in the "Virtual tours" section.
Visitors can also search for photographs of their relatives
displayed on the "Memory Wall" using a dedicated search function
available within the virtual gallery. The National Centre RUSSIA will continue
to add photographs of heroes to the virtual panorama in order to preserve as
many testimonies as possible to the generation of victors.
The III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts" will bring together couples in love from across the country on 8 and 9 July.
Exactly 85 years ago, at four o'clock in the morning, the life of our country was divided into a "before" and an "after". A war that would last 1,418 days and nights began.
