New Year tree of the Amur region: cosmodrome in ornaments and famous tigers
Stylized unique ornaments of the indigenous peoples of the Amur region — Nanai, Manchurians, Ulchi, Negidals, Nivkhi, Evenki, as well as Orochi and Udegeans — became the main element of the decoration of the New Year fir tree at VDNH.
The Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket with the Fregat booster is a reminder of the modern Russian cosmodrome located in the Far East.
The Amur tiger — the largest subspecies of tigers in the world — also appeared on the fir tree. It is a tropical animal, which by the will of fate found itself in the harsh conditions of our country. Moreover, the Amur region is the westernmost region where the unique fauna of southern forests has been preserved.
On the Main Alley of VDNH visitors are greeted by New Year fir trees, each representing a region of the country.
