The first awards ceremony honouring cultural figures and dedicated to the new professional holiday, Artist's Day, was held at the National Centre RUSSIA. Taking part in such a celebration and receiving an award is a special moment for any actor. This was shared by the award recipient, theatre and film actor Alexander Oleshko.
"To receive an honorary title on the birthday of Konstantin Stanislavsky, who became the first People's Artist of the Soviet Union, and on the day of the new holiday, Artist's Day, is undoubtedly a historic moment and, as our teacher used to say, already a fact of one’s biography," said Alexander Oleshko.
The actor is well known to a wide audience for his work in films and television series. He gained particular recognition for his roles as special forces officer Semyon Zlotnikov in the film "Code of Honour", codebreaker Petya Yablokov in the film "The Turkish Gambit", and oligarch Vasily Fedotov in the series "Daddy’s Daughters".
The celebration at the National Centre RUSSIA brought together representatives of a wide range of artistic fields, including theatre, film and circus performers, composers, musicians, artists, pop singers and other creative professionals.
