Federal educational marathon "Knowledge.First" was launched at the International RUSSIA EXPO in Moscow

The federal educational marathon “Knowledge.First" of the Russian Society "Knowledge" was launched on the Day of National Unity, November 4. It started within the framework of the largest educational, business, cultural and entertainment project in the history of modern Russia - the International RUSSIA EXPO, organized under the Decree of President Vladimir Putin. The opening ceremony of the marathon was broadcast live on the website of the Knowledge.TV channel. The start of the "Knowledge.First" marathon was announced by Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society "Knowledge".

"I am happy to congratulate you on the Day of National Unity, on the opening of the grandiose RUSSIA EXPO and, of course, on the beginning of our educational marathon. They say that as you name the ship, so it shall sail. We called the marathon "Knowledge.First", and it is a very accurate name. For three days we will talk about the achievements of our country. And each achievement, which we are proud of today, used to be someone's dream. These people were able to believe in themselves and turn their dreams into reality. I hope these examples can inspire you to new accomplishments. During the three days of the marathon our lecturers, the most interesting outstanding people, will be your mentors. I am sure that while communicating with them you will realize that if they could do it, so can you" - said Maxim Dreval to the participants of the marathon.

The marathon is conceptually integrated into the theme of the RUSSIA EXPO and unites six tracks, with the first letters of their names forming the word "Russia": Knowledge.Motherland, Knowledge.Society, Knowledge.Power, Knowledge.Sovereignty, Knowledge.Innovation and Knowledge.Me. During the marathon days about 15 thousand young people will gather in six pavilions to communicate with outstanding people who have achieved success in different fields, be inspired by their examples, learn to dream big and set ambitious goals. 

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. I want participation in this marathon to be your first step. They say that luck is the willingness to always take your chance. Be always ready, good luck to you", - Maxim Dreval added.

Each day of the marathon program will end with entertainment events. Three concerts are prepared for all participants. The culmination of the day on November 4 will be Gluk'oZa's show, on the second day of the marathon VK Fest will take place, and on November 6 Detali Time band will present its concert program.

The Russian Society "Knowledge" is the general partner of the educational program of the RUSSIA EXPO. The rich and diverse educational program will run throughout the entire period of the Exposition - until April 12, 2024 - and will show Russians, as well as foreign visitors, what achievements of the XXI century our country is proud of and how successes in various sectors improve the quality of life of people. 

Together with the "Knowledge" Society, 120 partners took part in the preparation of the educational track of the RUSSIA EXPO: relevant ministries, autonomous non-profit organizations, youth associations, and large corporations. Each week of the program will be devoted to a certain topic, including Russia's achievements, tourism and hospitality industry, traditional spiritual and moral values, science and technology, culture and art, sports and healthy lifestyle. In total, the six pavilions will host more than 5,500 speeches by brilliant speakers - politicians, economists, scientists, astronauts, managers, and cultural masters - on a variety of topics.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the entire duration of the Exposition, guests will enjoy cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. Visitors will see expositions of all 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. Representatives of federal authorities, major corporations and public associations will take part in the exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO will last until April 12, 2024.
