"Gastrobotany" festival — June 5 in the House of Russian cuisine
The Day of the Udmurt Republic will be held at the "Gastrobotany" festival in the House of Russian Cuisine. The guests of the Exposition are expected to
enjoy lively Udmurt dances, folk games, gifts from the publishing house
"Udmurtia" and wonderful Udmurt cuisine. Visitors will be introduced to the traditions
of Udmurt hospitality and the peculiarities of cooking Udmurt cuisine.
The program
includes:
- meeting
according to Udmurt traditions with bread and butter,
treating
with a traditional drink - pӧsyatem
- perepechi
with pestles
- perepechi
with ground elder (Aegopodium)
- kystybei
with green onions and potatoes
- chicken
soup with nettle
- tea made
of Udmurt herbs (mint, oregano, St. John's wort, linden, currant grass).
Masterclasses
are presented by Irina and Alexei Votintsev, founders of the Udmurt cuisine
chain "Perepechkin".
