The fourth season of the popular science contest for schoolchildren and students "Science. Territory of Heroes" started on September 21. The contest is part of the national project "Science and Universities", which is implemented by the decision of the President, and is part of the initiative "Science to Win" of the Decade of Science and Technology.

"With each passing year, the contest "Science. Territory of Heroes" is gaining popularity: for three seasons it has united tens of thousands of participants from all over the country. The contest helps to fulfill one of the main tasks of the Decade of Science and Technology — to attract talented young people in the field of research and development", — said deputy chairman of the Russian government Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Thanks to the competition, participants will be able to present their scientific projects and get feedback from experienced specialists. And the winners will be able to undergo internships in Russia’s largest world-class research centers.

But in order to win, the participants will have to pass five stages of the competition, each will have three types of tasks. The results of the competition will be summarized at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The best semi-finalists will be invited to the III Congress of Young Scientists, which will be held in the Park of Science and Art on the federal territory of "Sirius" from November 28 to 30, 2023.
