Photo show "Knowledge. Russia: The Peoples of Russia" will open at the National Centre RUSSIA
The National Centre RUSSIA will host a new photo exposition named "Knowledge. Russia: The Peoples of Russia". There will be shown works of winners of the eponymous All-Russian photo contest, the launch of which will be announced at a press conference on July 21 in ITAR-TASS.
The press conference will also touch upon such questions as educational projects and the multinational unity of Russia.
At the event, the speakers will talk about the nominations, prizes and stages of the competition, which is organized by the Guild of Interethnic Journalism in cooperation with the Russian Society "Znanie". Also, there will be announced the requirements for the contestants and the works. The best ones will be selected for participation in expositions in Moscow.
Participants of the press conference:
- Anastasia Zvyagina, Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA;
- Vladimir Ivanov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities;
- Vladimir Vasiliev, Chairman of the All-Russian Public and State Organization "Assembly of the Peoples of Russia", head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma;
- Maxim Dreval, Director General of the Russian Society "Znanie";
- Margarita Lange, President of the inter-regional public organization Guild of Interethnic Journalism.
In addition, educational projects on cultural diversity, national unity, and new initiatives will be presented at the press conference. The speakers will talk about governmental support measures, as well as about plans to launch new educational content and scale it up in the country's regions.
The event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Federal Tax Service, was held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 20 November.
