Science fiction writer, futurist and co-author of the book
"AI 2041: Ten Visions for Our Future", Chen Qiufan has issued an open
invitation to the January Expert Dialogues. The event will take place on 30
January at the National Centre RUSSIA and will be one of the key events of the
Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global
Growth". During the January Expert Dialogues, the speaker from China will
present a talk devoted to the future of artificial intelligence.
"I am confident that the Expert Dialogue is a wonderful
opportunity for all of us — people from different countries and cultures — to
come together and reflect on the future. We will be able to look at it from
many different perspectives. In my presentation, I will share my thoughts on
the future of artificial intelligence, on how it is moving from science fiction
into reality, and on how this future will affect each and every one of us. So I
invite everyone to join us," Chen Qiufan said.
The Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New
Platform for Global Growth" at the National Centre RUSSIA was held for the
first time in April 2025 and brought together more than 3,000 experts from
dozens of countries. By decision of the President of the Russian Federation,
Vladimir Putin, the event will be held annually. The programme of the January
Expert Dialogues focuses on the key challenges and megatrends shaping the
economy of the future, including finance, demography, technology and the labour
market. The keynote speaker and moderator of the event, which will set the
thematic direction for the Open Dialogue 2026, will be Deputy Chief of Staff of
the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin.
The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth" will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow on 27–29 April.
