The Head of the Donetsk People's Republic said that after returning to Russia, the DPR has been actively developing and Donbass already has many things to be proud of.

The region is famous for its industry and has been a real coal capital of the country since the XVIII century. In addition, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical industry are advanced here... Denis Pushilin emphasized that each of these industries would be enough for prosperity, and in Donbass they work together, complementing each other.

"But our main wealth is people. People stronger than coal and harder than steel, people with a real Donbass character," said the head of the DPR.

The nature of Donbass also offers great opportunities. The land here is fertile, and the region can match Crimea and the Caucasus in the number of sunny days per year. Denis Pushilin said that the Azov region will be developed as a resort area on the instructions of the President of Russia. By the way, a significant part of its territory are nature reserves and sanctuaries with red-listed animals.

The key achievements of the DPR will be shown at the exposition with the help of the "honor map" compiled by residents.

"Today Donbass is confidently looking into the future. With the support of 26 sponsor regions and the whole of our country, we are rebuilding our cities, reviving industry, together we are building Donbass, in which we want to live," the head of the region added.
