The head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov invited to the RUSSIA EXPO
The Republic of Mordovia will present its achievements in electronics, pharmaceutical production, sports and culture at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The head of the republic Artyom Zdunov invited everyone to the exposition.
"Here we will present all the best our republic has. The main wealth of Mordovia is our people. Pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Devyataev, invincible Admiral Fyodor Ushakov, Patriarch Nikon, world-famous sculptor Stepan Erizya, artist of joy Fedot Sychkov. These outstanding personalities are part of the great history of our vast country", — Artyom Zdunov said.
He reminded about the original Mordovian culture, which is manifested in music, languages, costume of Erzyans and Mokshans, in the works of artisans. Mordovian handicrafts are known throughout Russia — Tavla wooden toys, products made of Mordovian walnut oak, Tengushev seven-colors.
"Mordovia is famous for tasty, and most importantly — healthy products. We are leaders in organic farming, one of the largest producers of domestic roses", — the head of the region added.
Another important sphere is the production of medicines. The republic produces substances for antibiotics, antivirals and other important drugs. Other industries are also active. Mordovia is a leader in industrial car building, and besides, since the Soviet times it has been a center of lighting production and power electronics. Now the region is the only producer of optical fiber in EAEC.
Sports and culture also receive a lot of attention. Athletes from Mordovia glorify the country in various sports — from Greco-Roman wrestling to race walking.
"Mordovia has for centuries attracted fans of wondrous ethnographic, natural routes. It is one of the all-Russian centers of military-patriotic education", — Artyom Zdunov stressed.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will run from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024 at VDNH in Moscow. All Russian regions, including new territories, will tell about the main achievements in recent years.
President of the UNESCO General Conference, Khondker Mohammad Talha, visited the National Centre RUSSIA and toured the “Journey Across Russia” exposition.
