"The main value in life": large families became guests of the 2nd All-Russian Wedding Festival
The 2nd All-Russian Wedding Festival takes place at the
National Centre RUSSIA on July 8-10. The Sorlin and Moiseenko families who have
many children became the guests of honor. They shared the secrets of a long
life together.
Fabrice and Isabelle Sorlin have been living in Russia since
2015. They moved from France. The couple has been married for 19 years and have
six children.
"Each family has its own main condition of family
happiness. In my opinion, there should be mutual understanding between spouses.
Also, it is necessary to find time for each other. We have children, they take
a lot of our time and attention, but still every two months my husband and I
try to spend some time together, to go somewhere, and thus strengthen our
family," said Isabel Sorlin.
Fabrice Sorlin stressed that he was surprised by how
families with children are respected and appreciated in Russia.
"When we moved to Moscow, it was amazing that random
people could stop us in the street, congratulate, and say kind words about
having so many children. We always felt supported. And every day we feel it
from ordinary people, from the government and the administration. In Europe,
the family is under threat today. We see this difference," said Fabrice
Sorlin.
The Moiseenko family from Sosnovoborsk, Krasnoyarsk
Territory, has seven children. This is a teaching dynasty that dates back 110
years. Maxim Moiseenko believes that the strength of a large family is in love,
spirituality and a holistic approach to life.
"I feel rich because I have my big family. I think I'm
very lucky. It's enough just to look at all of them to understand that this is
the main value in life," Ivan Moiseenko shared.
The program of the 2nd All-Russian Wedding Festival includes
official wedding ceremonies, as well as many thematic events.
