The opening

with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
"I am very glad that today at the
International RUSSIA EXPO the "Knowledge" Society is opening the
second part of the Alley of Glory dedicated to the achievements of our
legendary athletes in winter sports. Each of them showed the world by their
example that everything is possible if you believe in yourself and are not
afraid of difficulties", - said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the
Russian Society "Knowledge".
"I
also want everyone who visits the exposition to get the idea, which has been
voiced many times by Vladimir Vladimirovich, that the greatest gold of our
country is people", - said the general director of the "Knowledge"
Society.
Roman
Kostomarov, two-time world champion and Olympic champion in figure skating,
left his Olympic medal on the stand and expressed confidence that the Alley of
Glory will inspire young people to do sports, go forward and achieve high
results.
Nothing is impossible for a person, and champions prove it by their example, the most important thing is to believe in miracles, set ambitious goals and achieve them, said Alexei Yagudin, four-time world champion and Olympic champion in figure skating at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games.
