"Our stand at the RUSSIA EXPO shows both achievements and our plans. Part of the exposition is devoted to presidential projects, because the most large-scale and significant changes in healthcare, urban improvement, in the development of transportation infrastructure take place with the direct participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the government", - said Andrey Vorobyov.

The Moscow region is one of the most actively developing regions of Russia. According to a number of socially significant indicators, the Moscow region is a leader, noted Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Moscow region ranks first in Russia in housing construction, 14 million square meters were commissioned in 2022 thanks to the support of the head of state. Social infrastructure is being actively developed, 231 schools, 432 kindergartens, three educational clusters have been built in the region over the past ten years.

The region is a leader in the digitalization of public services. In 2023, the regional Management Center worked on more than 2 million appeals of citizens, and the portal Dobrodel for direct communication between residents and authorities is used by more than 3 million people.

One of the best obstetrics systems in Russia has been created in the Moscow region, including six perinatal centers, 26 maternity hospitals, and a research institute of obstetrics and gynecology. The largest children's technopark in the country is located in the Moscow region as part of the Kapitsa Phystech Lyceum, which includes about 60 high-tech training laboratories.

The Moscow region ranks first in Russia in terms of cheese production, providing more than 100 thousand tons of products per year - 20% of the all-Russian volume.

One of the key events of the Day of the Region at the exposition was the awarding ceremony of the winners of the annual contest The Best Tourism Industry Organization in the Moscow Region for the prize of the Governor of the Moscow region 2023.

Yevgeny Mironov, People's Artist of Russia, presented a new cultural project - the Dostoevsky Festival, which will be held in the coming year in the city of Zaraysk. Artistic Director of the Moscow Gubernsky Theater Sergey Bezrukov spoke about the plans of the Moscow Gubernsky Theater for the new theater season. One of the main events of 2024 in the Moscow region will be the literary festival Project: Poet, which will be traditionally held in the museum-reserve Muranovo Estate named after F. I. Tyutchev.

World-famous saxophonist Igor Butman presented the program of the upcoming International Festival Jazz Seasons. Egor Druzhinin, Honored Artist of Russia, told the guests of the event how the project The City Dances in Parks will surprise its audience and participants in 2024.

At the end of the day there was a bright concert of the best folk groups of the Moscow region in collaboration with popular pop artists: the Governor's Orchestra of the Moscow region with Vanya Dmitrienko, folk music ensemble Dmitrovskie Rozhechniki (Dmitrov Horn Players) with Diana Ankudinova, folk group Academic Choir Podlipki named after B.A. Tolochkov with NILETTO.
