Preparing for cycling season and listening to tales of ancient Altai: interesting Sunday at the RUSSIA EXPO
In order to
have a good start to the working week, you need to have a good rest on the
weekend. We offer to spend March 10 with benefit. Guests will be able to
exercise together with a world champion, see an exciting theater show and even
get some training on anxiety reduction.
THE
"SPORT FOR EVERYONE" PAVILION INVITES TO THE STAND OF THE RUSSIAN
CYCLING FEDERATION 0+
The cycling
season will open very soon, so it's the perfect time to visit the stand of the
Russian Cycling Federation at the "Sport for Everyone" pavilion.
During the day, guests will be able to find out how much energy they will be
able to generate and whether they will be able to toast bread in a toaster
while pedaling, as the world champion and owner of some of the biggest legs on
the planet Robert Förstemann did. By the way, the author of the best result
will get a prize.
At 11:00
the mechanic of the Russian national team will hold a workshop on bicycle
repair, and at 12:00 world champion Anastasia Voinova will help to recharge
energy by showing some simple and accessible exercises.
From 14:00
and until the evening the exposition will present cycling disciplines: from
track and mountain routes to stunts on BMX - these are special bikes for
motocross. Athletes will show off their skills and invite spectators to copy
some of the elements to win valuable prizes.

THEATRICAL
PROGRAM "TALES OF ANCIENT ALTAI" BY LARISA DANCE SHOW 6+
The
atmospheric performance will allow the audience to feel the spirit and power of
the amazing Altai region. Especially for the show unique images of dancers and
musicians with elements of national costumes, ethnographic ornaments, imitation
of natural materials are developed. The musical compositions use the sounds of
Altai nature and animals: Caspian red deer, whooper swans, birds of the Altai
region. And the video sequence will show the most beautiful views of the
Altai's nature, harmoniously combined with modern 3D effects, animation
elements and choreography of the artists on the platform.

CONCERT OF
FINALISTS OF THE RUSSIAN MUSICAL PROJECT "SOUND OF EURASIA" 6+
The guests
of the exposition will enjoy a concert of the best ethnomusicians of the
country. Participants of the Sokol group - Valentina and Stepan Nesterovs will
introduce the Cossack dance song. Natalia Dzyga will plunge into the world of
Udmurt tunes and Besermyan krezs. VETKAFOLK will show how modern and cheerful a
traditional Russian song can sound. Olena Uutai will take you to fairy-tale
Yakutia with its beliefs and traditions.

PERFORMANCE AND MASTERCLASS ON MAKING FOLK TOYS 6+

of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra is very rich, and its culture and
traditions are authentic. Exposition guests will be able to touch the spirit of
this unique region, hear folk motifs and with their own hands create a toy that
will keep warm emotions for a long time.
