Grandiose parade of bayanists and world hits. Bright musical events at the Exposition on June 27
On June 27, we invite you to witness the grandiose event "Triumph of the Russian Bayan". The largest combined orchestra of bayanists, accordionists and squeezebox players will march along the main avenue of VDNH and set a Russian record. The colorful event will bring together musicians from all over the country and abroad and will be the triumph of the Russian bayan! Musicians will demonstrate their skills in a festive procession, during which several records will be set: the largest mass procession and the largest combined orchestra of accordionists, bayanists and squeezebox players, as well as a world record — the largest mass performance of the Russian national anthem by such an orchestra. Come to support the participants and plunge into the exciting atmosphere of a truly epochal event!
And in the evening of the same day musicians of the orchestra of bayanists and accordionists will present the audience with a magical evening of bayan art. At 19:00 on the Main Street Stage of the RUSSIA EXPO the concert "World Hits" will take place. You can enjoy the performance of the Pavel Smirnov Orchestra of Bayanists and Accordionists (Russia), as well as invited guest Petar Maric (Serbia, pop bayan). The program will feature world-famous musical works. Come to enjoy great music performed by recognized masters and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a real musical feast.
We would like to remind you that from June 25 to 27 at theRUSSIA EXPO in the House of Culture of VDNH, the qualifying stages of the XXII International Competition "Vivat, Bayan!" take place.
The contest annually gathers hundreds of talented musicians from all over the country and abroad. Many of the contestants and laureates have already become recognized masters of musical art, performing with solo concerts all over the world. Since 2002, the contest has been held annually in the Samara region, its idea belongs to Merited Artist of Russia Sergei Voitenko — the founder and permanent artistic director of "Vivat, Bayan!".
