Grand sports parade at the Exposition on May 25
On May 25,
the Exposition will host a grand parade celebrating the 105th anniversary ofthe first sports festival held on Red Square. More than two thousand
participants, including renowned athletes, young people, and everyone who
believes in a healthy lifestyle and sports, will take part in it.
Participants
of the RUSSIA EXPO and the All-Russian movement "Healthy Fatherland"
procession will march through VDNH in three columns, symbolizing different eras
of Russian sports development.
The
"Past" column will don sports uniforms from the Soviet era. The
"Present" will be dressed in the colors of the Russian tricolor. The
"Future" will showcase futuristic outfits. Regions will be
represented by celebrated champions who have contributed to Russia's reputation
as a leading sports power.
The parade
will take place on May 25 at 12:00 and will mark the countdown to the grand
sports parade, which, after a long hiatus, will return to Red Square in 2025!
On 3 March, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the ceremony for the Znanie.Award — the country's enlightening prize and flagship project of the Russian society Znanie.
At the fifth awarding ceremony of the enlightening prize "Znanie.Award", the National Centre RUSSIA became the laureate in the "Enlightening Company of the Year" nomination.
On 3 March, a meeting of the Organising Committee for the Year of Unity of the Peoples of the Russian Federation was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
