Grigory Gurov gave an author's tour of the exposition "First in Russia - Land of Opportunity"
On November 7, visitors to the International RUSSIA EXPO, which opened on November 4 in Pavilion No. 1 "Central" at VDNH, took part in an exclusive guided tour on the transformation of opportunities for developing the talents of children and youth. It was hosted by Grigory Gurov, head of the "Movement of the First", as part of the "Excursions with Knowledge" program.
"This is a kind of story about where we started and what path we have managed to take in the XXI century," the author explained the excursion's purpose.
Participants heard a story about the pioneer movement, the Russian Movement of Schoolchildren, the Yunarmy, the Russian Movement of Children and Youth, learned that the basis of all the achievements of the state is education and enlightenment, which our country has traditionally paid great attention to. It is for this purpose that the Sirius Educational Center was opened by the decision of the President of the Russian Federation to support young talents.
In addition, Grigory Gurov told the participants about the opportunities for the development of the younger generation in science and sports, about the ecosystem of youth tourism around the country under the program "More than a Trip".
The exposition "First in Russia - Land of Opportunity" has several thematic zones, which are connected to each other by the principle: "A dream is the beginning of any discovery".
