Chelyabinsk Region Governor leaves a message on the "Nevalyashki" art installation of the National Centre RUSSIA
At the International Festival of Youth — 2026 (IFY-2026) in
Yekaterinburg, the Chelyabinsk Region Governor Alexei Teksler visited the
National Centre RUSSIA stand and its flagship project — the Department Store.
He highlighted the significance of IFY-2026 for the whole world and also left
his wishes on the "Nevalyashki" ("Roly-Poly Toys") art
installation of the National Centre RUSSIA.
"The International Festival of Youth is a major landmark event not only
for our country, but for the entire world. Young people from all over the world
have come here. And the Chelyabinsk Region has sent one of the largest
delegations: we rank fourth in terms of the number of young people who have
come here. We have wonderful, vibrant young people, and I am very happy about
that. As for the National Centre RUSSIA, may this idea of our President — to
show everyone the opportunities of every region, united into one great force
called Russia — continue to live on. A magnificent building for the Centre is
now being constructed in Moscow, and its branches are being established. I am confident that the idea of
every person being proud of their country while also taking pride in their
region will continue to develop. And the National Centre RUSSIA will help bring
our efforts together to promote this among the people of our country,"
said Alexei Teksler.
The Chelyabinsk Region Governor also visited the "Nevalyashki" art
installationof the National Centre RUSSIA. Anyone can choose one of the 250
colourful toys joined together in a single wave, write a personal wish on it
and then return it to the overall composition. Alexei Teksler left his
signature and a message for the country and young people on one of the toys:
"I wish you success, development and new victories."
The National Centre RUSSIA team presented Alexei Teksler with merchandise
featuring a quote from the President of Russia and a special version of a
nevalyashka designed as Cheburashka, the famous animated character and one of
the main mascots of IFY-2026 in Yekaterinburg. The toy was specially created by
the National Centre RUSSIA for the festival.
