"I am an artist of my country": Lusya Chebotina at the RUSSIA EXPO
At a
meeting organized by the Russian Society "Knowledge", songwriter,
singer, actress and producer Lusya Chebotina met with young people, talked about
her path to success and shared her opinion about the national culture.
The artist
said that she first went on stage at the age of four in her hometown and at
that moment already realized that she wanted to become a singer, while she
became a songwriter at the age of fourteen.
"I sat
down at the piano and started making things up, getting something out of
myself. It was my first experience, the song turned out not very cool, not very
fashionable, but since then I realized that I like to write songs and began to
gain experience", - said Lusya Chebotina.
The singer
admitted that the first and only person who supports her on her creative path
is her mother, who is still the first listener. The artist also noted that she
is a fan of many domestic songwriters and performers:
"I am an artist of my country and I believe that our country is simply overflowing with talents, and each of them is absolutely original", - she emphasized.
In Lusya's opinion, Russian culture contains a huge power and beauty, which has always been a source of inspiration and will continue to inspire creative individuals - poets, composers, performers.
