Now, thanks to a very small nuclear power plant, astrophysicists will be able to study the structure of the Universe, as well as the composition and structure of virtually any substance. Working with neutrons is one of the most promising directions in the scientific field at the moment.
Neutrons can also be used for practical purposes. For example, to adjust high-precision devices, in medicine — to destroy cancer cells, in jewelry — to color diamonds.
