Yakutia will be represented at the RUSSIA EXPO by ethno-singer Olena Uutai
The stand of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) during the International RUSSIA EXPO will feature ethno-singer Olena Uutai. She can easily be called a legendary figure in the republic’s musical culture. Uutai is a master of throat singing, a virtuoso of playing the khomus, and a composer. The artist has already recorded a video in which she invited everyone to see the exposition at the VDNH. In the video she reminded about one of the attractions of the exposition complex — the fountain "Stone Flower". The Soviet sculptor from Yakutia, Honored Art Worker of the Yakut ASSR Prokopy Dobrynin participated in its creation.
"The theme of his native Yakutia has always been a keynote in Dobrynin’s work. He created narrative compositions materializing the images of Russian and Yakut folk tales. And it is the fairy tale theme that will be the main subject for Yakutia at the upcoming International RUSSIA EXPO", — emphasized Olena Uutai.
The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is preparing for the exposition an original display related to the Olonkho epic. The key achievements of the region, its modernity and development potential will be presented through its images and meanings.
Olena Uutai added that the exposition will provide an opportunity to learn more about life in different parts of the country.
"This is a unique opportunity to get to know more about the history, culture and traditions of absolutely all the regions of our big country. A lot of new and interesting things are waiting for you. Come to the International RUSSIA EXPO", — the singer said.
The International RUSSIA EXPO will be held at VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024.
