The opportunity to experience Russia in just one hour — from Arctic glaciers and Siberian forests to cutting-edge industrial enterprises — awaited participants in the "Summer Techno School 2026" programme, organised by Rossotrudnichestvo and RTU MIREA as part of the international "New Generation" initiative. After visiting the "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA, the students shared their impressions.

"I never imagined Russia would be so beautiful. I really enjoyed the exposition — everything has been done to the highest standard. I didn't even realise there were places like this in Russia. What impressed me most, however, were the technologies, especially the drones used in the agricultural sector. I also loved the section devoted to minerals because that's what I study. It is important for me to see that Russia has its own manufacturing capabilities, that you produce so many things yourselves, including aircraft. That's truly impressive. Expositions like this help preserve culture and showcase the beauty of nature, and I think that's incredibly important," said Peter Elias Dogani, a student from Tanzania.

Arnab Sen, a student from India, said that the exposition had brought his studies to life. "I was amazed by how much I learned about Russia, its technologies and its culture. At university, I mostly study these things through books, but here I was able to see everything in real life — from agricultural technologies to modern drones. It makes learning much easier and helps me understand how this knowledge can be applied in the future."

He added that he was particularly interested in the sections devoted to Siberia and modern Russian technologies, and expressed hope that similar projects would one day be created in India.

Chinese student Qiu Jun-Kai said that he was deeply impressed by the exposition, describing it as both beautiful and highly informative. In his view, projects like this play an especially important role in helping people understand the history of their own country, because without an understanding of the past, it is impossible to build the future.
