An interactive journey into the world of poetry: a lecture and a flash mob featuring the work of poet Yuri Entin will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA
On August
24, the National Centre RUSSIA invites you to an interactive event "The World of Poetry: Speak like Entin" as part of the series
"Masterpieces. The best in Russia". It will be not just a cultural
event, but a deep dialogue with the poetic heritage of the country through the
lines of Yuri Entin.
Yuri Entin
is the author of lyrics for many famous children's songs. More than one
generation grew up in our country listening to them: "Beautiful Far
Away", "If there was no winter", "Winged swing",
"I want to fly", "Song of robbers", "Ray of the golden
sun", "Forest deer", "Chunga-chunga", "Song of
Bremen musicians", "You are a man". These compositions are known
and loved in Russia and abroad.
In
addition, Yuri Entin is the author of scripts for several cartoons: a trilogy
about Bremen Town Musicians, "Blue Puppy", "Pif-puff,
oh-oh-oh!", and others.
The
programme of the event includes:
— a live
lecture — poetic journey through the author's work featuring his iconic poetry;
— artists’
performance with a medley of the most popular songs of the poet;
— a flash
mob that will give a charge of positive emotions and become the highlight of
the evening.
The
peculiarity of the project is its interactivity. Guests will not only hear
poems, but will become participants of the creative process, literally
breathing new life into famous works.
The event
will be part of a large poetry cycle "The World of Poetry", which
introduces the audience to the richest literary heritage of Russia through the
synthesis of theater, music and interactive technologies.
