Art of the future: digital solutions in the museum industry to be discussed at the National Centre RUSSIA
On July 24, the National Centre RUSSIA will host an open discussion titled "From brush to code: how technology is changing the perception of art" as part of the educational project "Development." Experts from Russia’s leading museums will talk about how digital tools enhance engagement with visitors, enable the creation of interactive expositions, and broaden access to works of art.
During the event, leading specialists will address the integration of IT solutions into the art environment, including the use of augmented and virtual reality technologies to modernise classical expositions.
Speakers:
— Yelena Davydova, Executive Director of the M’ARS Centre for Contemporary Art;
— Daria Parfenenko, Deputy Director General for Exposition Activities at the State Tretyakov Gallery.
The central theme of the dialogue will be the evolution of audience experience in the context of digital transformation. Participants will learn how technology enables new ways of engaging with artworks, participating in the creative process, and gaining a deeper, more immersive artistic experience. The discussion will also touch on what contemporary art is and how an unprepared viewer can approach and understand it.
