07.07.2025

The National Centre RUSSIA presents a special video of the podcast "Russia Speaks" dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, and the upcoming 2nd All-Russian Wedding festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts". The festival will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA on July 8-10. Participants of the program titled "How Art Teaches Us to Love" explore how creativity reflects and shapes our ideas about love and family values.

For centuries, love has been embodied in painting, literature, cinema, and music. The new video of the podcast reveals how art serves as a guide to the world of emotions, helping us to better understand ourselves and our loved ones.

Prominent experts took part in the discussion: Veronika Krutilnikova, psychologist, author of Otvet psychological assistance service, and host of her own Youtube channel; Daria Parfenenko, Deputy Director General of the State Tretyakov Gallery, art critic; Elena Davydova, Executive Director of "MARS" Centre for Contemporary Art, and Nikita Vysotsky, actor, film director, theater instructor and director of Vladimir Vysotsky State Cultural Centre-Museum "Vysotsky's home on Taganka". Together with presenter Angelika Kiryan, they analyzed how films, paintings and literary works shape our ideals of love, teach us to recognize true feelings, and build strong family relationships.

The author's podcast "Russia Speaks" by the National Centre RUSSIA practices the tradition of an open dialogue discussing the most important issues of our time. The project involves leading experts and cultural figures whose ideas and experience help to better understand our rapidly changing world. The project's studio has already been visited by neuroscientist Vyacheslav Dubynin, architect Andrey Chernikhov, test cosmonaut Nikolai Chub, theater and film actor Vladislav Miller, singer Tatiana Kurtukova, and other experts and opinion leaders.

Watch the special video "How Art Teaches Us to Love" and other podcasts of the "Russia Speaks" on the website russia.ru, and in the social networks of the National Centre RUSSIA.
