Implementation of the social gasification program was discussed at the International RUSSIA EXPO
The
pavilion of the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation
hosted a meeting of the federal headquarters for gasification under the
chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander
Novak.
"Since
last year, the social gasification program has become open-ended. The pace of
program implementation has increased significantly. Let me give you some
figures: to date, 1 million 87 thousand applications for gasification have been
accepted, 1 million 37 thousand contracts have been signed, which is about 95%
of the number of accepted applications. This is a very good indicator. We are
also observing an increase in the number of contracts signed to the limit of
the land plot - about 760 thousand contracts or 73% of the total number of
contracts signed. We expect that by the end of the year the number will reach 1
million," - said Alexander Novak.
The Deputy
Prime Minister of the Russian Federation named the leading regions in the
implementation of the gasification program: the Moscow region, the Chechen and
Chuvash Republics, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the
Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Vladimir, Volgograd and Rostov regions.
Alexander
Novak reminded about the measures of social security. Thus, the subjects of the
Russian Federation provide subsidies for gasification in the amount of at least
100 thousand rubles per household for certain categories of citizens. Since
last year, about 52 thousand people have applied for compensation for the cost
of gasification of households. As of November 1, this year about 25 thousand
citizens received social assistance for the total amount of more than 2 billion
rubles.
In
addition, Alexander Novak said that under the program of social gasification of
medical and educational institutions more than 500 applications for connection
have already been accepted, 150 schools and hospitals have been supplied with
gas.
